ReagleReagle the Beagle
Reagle is part terrier. Reagle was rescued from the streets of East St. Louis, IL in November 2005. She is approximately 17 years old. Reagle has served as the mascot for the National Beta Club for 15 years. She was a Cushing's Disease survivor and had been valiantly fighting this disease and winning due to her fighting spirit, the love of her family and my students, and the wisdom of Dr. Sims, her veterinarian for over 15 years. She loved to have her belly rubbed, treats of any kind, and traveling with her human parents. Reagle passed away at Hawthorne Animal Hospital on June 20th, 2019. She will be missed by both her human and canine companions |

HersheyHershey the Chihuahua
Hershey was rescued from a puppy mill in St. Louis, MO in February 2007. He is approximately 17 years old. Hershey has served as the speech team mascot for 8 years. He has survived years of abuse and neglect. It took 4 years and 2 surgeries to eradicate severe chronic ear infections he acquired while he was caged at the puppy mill. Hershey is a sweet and loving dog who loves to snuggle with his human daddy. His favorite treats are beef flavored Canine Carryouts and Liver Treats. He loves to travel, and barks at every toll booth worker he can during vacation as a sign of protest against fees which could be used to buy him more treats. Hershey passed away this summer (2021) at Crossroads Animal Hospital in El Paso, Texas on June 16, 2021. He will be missed by his human and dog families. |
